Cantallini will present a spring programme at St James’ Church, Islington. Repertoire will include Handel’s Messiah Parts and 3, pieces by Weelks, Caldara, Gesualdo, Schutz, and others.

The first half of the concert is an hors d’oeuvre before the main course of the second and third parts of Handel’s Messiah, consisting of wonderful pieces written by other composers over the centuries with Passiontide and Easter in mind; and there is  a little organ intermission to vary the menu.
